SALTED CARAMEL & COCONUT BLISS BALLS

Time: 10 minutes

Makes 20 bliss balls

A great idea for lunch boxes that are quick and simple to make and only contain natural ingredients!

Ingredients

 

100g rolled oats

200g medjool dates

2 tsp maple syrup

1/2 tsp sea salt (can add more if you like more)

35g desiccated coconut (can also toast to make it a stronger coconut flavour)

Optional

2 tsp mesquite powder (if you want to be fancy!)

2 tbsp toasted cashews

Chia seeds

Method

​​

  • Add all ingredients, except coconut, to a high speed blender.​

​

  • Blend on high speed for approx 1 minute or until everything is combined and it is a smooth mixture.
     

  • Take heaped teaspoon sized amounts from mixture at a time and roll into a balls.
     

  • Place coconut on a plate and roll bliss balls through coconut to lightly coat.

  • Place bliss balls in a container and refrigerate to firm up.
